Long time no blog

Yes folks it has been a long time since my last entry, I didn't say though that I was religiously post every day into this. Even though I should do really as it would help me to clear my mind of the days thoughts that would otherwise churn away in my head and stopping me from sleeping, hence this entry this morning.

Yet again I find that my mind isn't being stimulated enough so I no longer feel tired so I start to sleep less and less until I get to the stage where headaches creep in warning me that I'm over tired. Maybe I should stop being on the computer so late at night.

Also what tends to keep me awake or make me wake with a jump is the vivid images that I see, I know that they are not real but they look so real. Am I linked to the computer on a subconscious level? Or is there something more deep rooted going on? I hope not.

Enough of me wallowing in self pity, I promised myself that this blog wasn't going to turn into one of those ones where I feel sorry for myself because I'm stuck in a job where I am no longer stimulated and the pay is ridiculously low for someone of my age.

I have many people tell me why don't you quit your job and find something that you want to do and get paid well for doing. But there is a flaw to that plan and that is financial commitments, yes its the biggest ball and chain you are ever going to wear in your life. It is such a driving factor, you cannot do anything without money, which is a shame really.

I would like to live in the Star Trek world where you no longer need currency to get what you want, where currency is no longer the driving force of the human race.

I could go on forever with this entry and bore you senseless with my random ramblings, so guess what for a change I'm going to do just that, well not forever, I don't want to be tied to the computer forever, that's just plain stupid, possibly carry on rambling until I fall asleep at the keyboard.

But then funnier things have happened.

I'm just wondering as I type this, I keep getting some wierd link pop up where the draft and publish buttons should be. Maybe I'm going too fast for the computer.

It may be sometime before my next entry with all of this outpouring my mind will be blank for some time, so if you see me wondering around the streets like a zombie you will know why.

Ok now on to Christmas, for once I had a very good relaxing christmas, just one glass of wine that unfortunately went straight to my head because I have almost given up alcohol completely and my tolerance is somewhere in Australia.

I seem to attract the nutters.

Throbbing...

... head again, went to bed early last night (9pm) and just got up now, I keep making the mistake of sleeping too long and guess what? I've woken up again with a throbbing head. Time to reach for the ibuprofen.

Oh my aching head...

... no not been drinking, slept too heavily again last night and only just got up, if I'm in bed for more than 6 hours my head starts screaming, I do feel a little dehydrated, maybe that's the cause. I was going to do a little more shopping today, I had missed a few more items off my shopping list, but by the time I have got everything done it will be a little too late.

Kong My Whopper...

... yeah right I'm gonna walk into Burger King and say "I'd like to Kong My Whopper", yeah right, hellooo come out Jeremy Beadle.

You'll know what I'm talking about if you watch the latest Burger King ad campaign on the gogglebox (television)

Only 3 hours late...

... getting up this morning, I had planned to get up at 6 and go straight out to my local 24 hour supermarket, but as usual my body conspires against me and I lie in bed until 9 am. I know that I'll never make the time up, so this is a quick entry before I have a bath and try and kickstart my day.

Intelligence test...

... I think they should make some drivers take a basic intelligence or common sense test when driving.

How many people will still insist on blocking an exit on traffic lights so when the opposite lights do turn green, no one can go anywhere, just because your light is on green doesn't automatically mean that you have to race up to the car in front, use a modicum (sp?) of common sense and leave a gap for the other stream of traffic when it is their turn to go.

Frosty the snowman...

... yes it is cold outside, just unfreezing my car before I go to work, just enough time to get this quick entry out. I was saying to someone at work yesterday where was the cold weather? It's supposed to be a cold winter and look what happens this morning, serve me right, opening my big mouth!!

Boldy going...

... or is Channel 4 going to fall flat on its face with its TV Hoax "Space Cadets"? If you have been under a rock for the past few weeks it is a reality TV show hosted by Johnny Vaughan. They fool a bunch of people into thinking they are taking part in an astronaught training programme in Russia, when in reality they are living in a huge disused warehouse in the UK, it is going to be totally decked out with russian fittings, toilet rolls etc.,

Then the hapless folks will then think they are in space when in fact the shuttle they are on will be a set and a screen set up in front of the cockpit showing pictures of space to make them think that they are really in space.

If I was one of them and I did twig what was going on I'd just play along for the laugh.

There has been a glitch...

... due to an oversight, I had comments set for registered users only, that has now been fixed so anyone can leave a comment. Yes I know I'll probably get sad little spammers trying to tout their products through the comments.

One word of warning to would be spammers, I will take every opportunity to ridicule you and your products/services, then if I'm feeling in a really generous mood and you are stupid enough not to cover your tracks well, I will send an abuse report to your ISP, I'm sure they will love having spammers as customers.

If I want your products I will visit your website and request information, until then stay away, you have been warned!!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho it's off to work we go...

... well got back half an hour ago after another riveting days work, busy as hell but the work is boring, I long for something different, I'll just have to wait and see. I had to cancel an Open University course for the second time, do not have the funds to do it all of a sudden, why do we have to tax our cars? Grumble Grumble!!

Raindrops keep falling on my head...

... yes it's raining outside, I know we are only just into December, but we were told to expect a really cold winter, I don't think rain constitutes a very cold winter at the moment. Hey but the weather in the UK (United Kingdom) is unpredictable at the best of times.

Remember that infamous weather forecast that Michael Fish did? The lady that called the met office to warn them that a hurricane was on the way?

Oops poor Michael little did he know that amateur meteorologists are just as good and sometimes even better than their "professional counterparts"

Jingle Bells Batman Smells...

... no folks not going to repeat that old song to the tune of jingle bells, just drawing attention to the fact that Christmas is just around the corner, Some frantic present buying going on in my local supermarket, even though there is still just over 2 weeks to go, why is there always a mad panic? I never panic I always leave myself plenty of time, after all Christmas Eve finishes at midnight so there is still plenty of time. :-D

I'm just going to go with my new trusty method, just buy some gift vouchers then my folks can get what they like without moaning about me getting something that they don't like and have to take it back on Boxing Day. :-)

Yes folks

I'm back again with "Yet Another New Blog", catchy title?

Don't really know what I am going to use this blog for yet, only time will tell. Maybe not a rigid structure this time, I just might let shape shift a few times, evolve over time even get some input from you folks out there, fingers crossed it will work this time.

So once again my friends into the water we go, well dip your toes first.
